The truth of the matter is that sooner or later, we will all take defeats in sport and in life, the question is do you have the character needed to get better from it, not bitter. Life is not about wins and loses, nor is it about your past successes, true growth is being able to take the defeats and the victories, and positively continue to move forward so that you are continually growing to the next chapter in your life.

Any coward can fight a battle when he is sure of winning, but give me the man who is ready to fight a battle when he is sure of losing.
